Mosstober
October 2023
This is a month-long art challenge I created and hosted on Instagram during the month of October 2023. I created 12 black paper illustrations (7" x 7") based on 12 prompts from the list I created. These artworks eventually led to the creation of my first black paper art book and became the setting for Foolproof's Method For Traversing the Darkness. This challenge was open for my followers to also participate in and share their creations under #mosstober2023.

Foolproof's Method for Traversing the Darkness
December 2023
This is my first black paper art book with a short story and the 12 illustrations created from the Mosstober challenge. The above illustrations, coupled with a random night I was doing chores - inspired me to write a short story set in the wonky world called the "Darkness". A new character was also born - named "Fool". An expert tour guide who Polkadot and Thug meet in the short story. I spent the entire month designing each page, one at a time, and writing the "Thug's Notes" accompanying each illustration on the left pages.
